The Lower Hudson Coalition of Conservation Districts (LHCCD) has been instrumental in the Lower Hudson River Basin in assisting communities to comply with the Stormwater Phase II Regulations through outreach and education.  Between 2004 and 2009, with a grant from the Hudson River Estuary Program, the Districts in the LHCCD held training sessions for professionals, produced educational literature for property owners, convened local stormwater coalitions, assisted MS4s in annual report preparation and site inspections, held conferences on stormwater management, assisted local watershed groups, and installed stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs).
